Project Effectiveness, Kitsap County

Kitsap County Public Works is monitoring the effectiveness of certain culvert replacements and floodplain restoration projects designed to lessen stormwater impacts, improve water quality, and restore natural stream and floodplain functions. These project evaluation sites are established to provide biological information about stream conditions before and after the project is constructed. These sites are incorporated into the Watershed Health Monitoring Program and are subject to the same sampling protocols and analysis.
