NPDES 2015 Pierce County Watershed Health Monitoring, Pierce County

Pierce County participated in the 2015 Status and Trends in Receiving Waters Monitoring Project as part of the Phase 1 Municipal Stormwater Permit. The project is one element of the multi-agency Regional Stormwater Monitoring Program. The goal of the RSMP is to measure changes in Puget Lowland streams and urban shoreline areas as a result of stormwater management. Pierce County chose to monitor sites within its own jurisdictional area. We monitored 12 freshwater streams between July and September 2015.
